How I love to ...give in

today was pretty exciting stuff. so for the last night i staying with a "home-stay family". things were pretty sweet. it was the twins and me for the most part, but another girl who was had a panic attack and stayed at the hospital later joined us. We stayed with a man and his family. He picked us up in his pick-up so riding out in the open was definitely something different and cool. His business was selling fertilized (we were in a farm oriented village with approximately 2000 people). Their family consisted of him and his wife, their daughter (14yrs) and a younger son(13 yrs). We stayed up with the younger girl and talked all night. It was quite a challenge for me since everything was in chinese but at least i got good practice. We left in the morning and returned to the camps daily activities such as making a pencil, making cookies (ive got a cool pic to upload of this later), picking grapes and learning about tea leaves. HOLY CRAP. we had to cross this long ass high up bridge in order to get to the other side to the tea leaves place and that was a horrifying experience for me. Hyperventilating and panking is NOT fun.

Yeah so later today we went to this harbor shopping place (where it unforunatly rained so we didnt really get much shopping done) but i made my first bargin! It was for an umbrella (go figure, since it was rainning and all) but yeah i think i got a good deal. $1 canadian = $30 nt. He asked for 80, i wanted 50, he said no, then i said im leavining, then he said "I'll do it for 60" lawls. yes i am QUITE proud of myself. Our little group of friends and I embarked on our exploration for a restarunt admist all the chaos and mass amount of people. We eventually settled on some little restaruant where the boys ate...ALOT since it was pretty cheap ($20 nt for 1 bowl of rice w/ meat). After the meal Ashely and I decieded that we REALLY need to go to the bathroom but it was like REALLY gross (the womens one). It was like a little 80 cm by 80cm area that consisted of a squatting toilet and a sink. yeah pretty nasty. I refused to go. The mens bathroom was also small and crowded..but it actually had a toilet toilet (you know..one with a seat). I decided to go for that since i like sitting better (?) but the toilet didnt really have a toilet "seat" soo i had to put tissues all the way around the rim since it was really dirty. so i do my business then flush right? except...i used ALOT of paper to cover the rim and it was congesting the part of the toilet that flushes (did that make sense?) soo water started going up annnd yeahhh. Luckly it didn't over flow but it was pretty damn close. Will used the washroom after me and was like "WTF ITS LIKE FLOODING BUT NOT. IT'S ALL JOLENE'S FAULT" Ashley had quite the experience as well. She didnt know which direction to face to squat (she was brave and decided to go for the women's stall) and we sat there trying to figure out how to flush the damn thing. it was SO funny. With a huge pack of tissue, Ashley and i went though over 3/4ths of it. Everyone at our table laughed. We wanted to take pictures by the washrooms (which we eventually did, upload later) of this funny experience but when we tried to open the door to the womens washroom it was locked but then we hear hear Matt say "yeah im in here guys". PRICELESS. I'm a girl, i used the boy's bathroom and Matt is a boy, but used the girls bathroom. Funny how that works. But i think we all got cramps from laughing so hard. Good times guys, never forget =p
anyways i realize this is poorly written (grammar and all) but i AM in asia, and i'm lazy so cut me some slack. pce!

Sickness was fixing me some
Coughed out my heart in the last stall
Now that the damage is done
I never miss it at all
So you might ask yourself "why am i reading this". Well, no one said you had to.
This is simply an online journal, mostly of the worst of days because sometimes we're just not ready to let go of those emotions. Somtimes you don't want to feel better. Sometimes you just want to be angry, or sad. For me reading over everything helps me stay that way. I know it sounds weird but sometimes we need to hit rock bottom, hell, before we can get better. These memories are hard to relive, hard to forget. So until I find a better way to deal with all these bottled up emotions, here they will stay.
